We hope you find our site useful and we thank you for sending your feedback or wanting to get involved in our campaign.

Upfront we say the following:

we believe that it is right currently to expect to pay a toll to use the vehicle tunnel for applicable vehicles. If you are exempt you are exempt. If you pass through in a vehicle which is liable to pay a toll we do not condone any deliberate action to avoid payment of the due toll and won't offer advice or engage with you regarding any enforcement action, regardless of whether you believe you should be charged a toll or not. Future plans to waive tolling such as on Severn or Tamar crossings are outside of the scope of this campaign currently - however we would support this once the construction debt is cleared.

we will campaign for best use of toll revenues to avoid unjust increases, we will campaign for fair treatment of motorists who receive UTCNs, we will campaign for an independent appeal function, and for 'the voice of the consumer' to be heard.

we will prioritise our campaign on the basis of what we think is most 'resolvable' - some issues we hear about could only be resolved in a court room. TT2 are now (August 2021) starting proceedings to collect unpaid monies via court action.

we do not condone any aggression towards TT2 staff who are paid to answer your complaints, it's not their individual fault that they are working within sometimes farcical processes. Be kind - if you do not get resolution and our advice suggests you could take it further, we urge you to write to your own MP and get them to escalate on your behalf sending us a copy.
